Start with your boxes, build an order and move it through packing.

Start a box collection

1. Open My Boxes in the web app.
2. Measure the usable inside length, width and height. Save quantity and condition.
3. For cost comparison, also enter outer dimensions, empty weight and packaging cost. Add a shelf location and show its QR label from the box card.

Outer dimensions must be at least as large as the inside dimensions. The app does not infer a box’s strength or usable space around permanent inserts.

AI Scan printed box details on Android

In Add/Edit box, choose AI Scan printed details. Photograph measurements printed on a box or select an image. Review and adjust the suggested crop or rotation, then check each proposed number, decide whether the size is inside or outside, and confirm empty-box weight separately. The scan cannot measure an unmarked box from a picture.

AI Scan several labels

In My Boxes, choose AI Batch Scan labels and select up to 20 photos. BoxLoop reads the temporary images first, then opens an editable form for each readable label. Review the suggested sizes, name the box and save it, or skip the label. Back stops the remaining batch. Previously saved boxes remain saved.

AI Scan a printed order

In Orders, choose AI Scan order sheet, or open New order and select AI Scan printed order. Photograph the item table with printed length × width × height and units, or choose an image. Crop out customer names and addresses. Adjust the suggested crop and rotation first, then review the proposed reference, item names, sizes and quantities; selected rows go into an editable draft. Check the draft before adding it to the queue. The scan does not read items lacking labelled dimensions reliably.

AI photo note

Add a box photo on a compatible Android device, then choose AI suggest photo note. Gemini Nano may first download a model. Review and edit the English description before adding it to your note. If your phone does not support it, write the note manually. The description does not establish a box’s dimensions, material or condition. The web app uses manual entry.

Save products and compare boxes

In Orders, open Saved products to store a product’s size, weight, protection gap and upright preference. Add it to future orders without typing those measurements again. BoxLoop highlights the lowest estimated cost, least unused inside space and highest stock among boxes with a confirmed fit. These are explanations from your own data, not an unverified AI prediction or a live carrier quote.

Final packing check and history

Before Mark packed reduces box stock, confirm the order contents, cushioning and closure, box condition, and actual weight and carrier rules. History shows recorded box uses, packed orders, low stock and saved estimate snapshots. It does not assert that you saved money versus a purchase or carrier bill.

Pack a multi-item order

1. Open Orders → New order and enter a reference.
2. Add each rectangular item with dimensions, quantity, weight and protective space per side. Select upright when its entered height must stay vertical.
3. Open the order to see box options. A fitting option shows a placement for each piece. “Not confirmed” means the bounded search did not find a placement; it is not proof that no packing arrangement exists.
4. Choose Use this box & mark packed after physically checking the pack. Box stock decreases by one. Use History → Undo to reopen an order and restore that box if you made a mistake.

An order supports up to 12 pieces. The separate Quick Fit screen checks one item and shows the orientation and remaining space.

Compare costs

Set a shipping tariff in Orders with service/zone name, base charge, charge per started kilogram, volumetric divisor and maximum billable weight. Set a box’s outer dimensions, empty weight and material cost in My Boxes. The estimate adds packaging and the cheapest eligible configured tariff. Billable weight is the greater of actual or volumetric weight. Your starting currency is EUR for Germany, and you can set another three-letter currency when creating the first tariff. Rates are entered by you, not fetched from carriers. Check taxes, surcharges, dimensions and carrier rules separately.

Import a packing queue

Choose Orders → Import order CSV. Use one row per item. The required header is:

order_id,item_name,length,width,height,quantity

Optional columns: weight_g,padding,upright. Use the current app unit (cm or in) for dimensions and padding; upright accepts true/false or yes/no. Repeated order IDs group into one order. The app checks the full file and asks before adding it. It rejects existing order references rather than changing them. Keep the file under 2 MB and each order at 12 pieces or fewer.

Find and back up your boxes

Show a box’s QR label from My Boxes, then use Orders → Scan a box label to look up its name, quantity and shelf location. Camera access is used while the scanner is open or when you choose to photograph a printed label for Android AI Scan. Settings → Export backup saves a JSON file with boxes, orders, tariffs and history. Import backup replaces all local records after confirmation. Export before changing devices or clearing browser data.
